Polyvinylidene fluoride resin DY-1


Polyvinylidene fluoride resin DY-1 is a kind of powdered polyvinylidene fluoride product. It can be mixed with acrylic resin and additives to form a bake type PVDF fluorocarbon coating with superior performance. Compared with other makes of PVDF, PVDF DY-1 is more suitable for preparing top coating and light colored coating in bake type PVDF fluorocarbon coatings.

The fluorocarbon coatings prepared using appropriate processes of mixing and spay processing with PVDF DY-1 as the raw material have good mechanical strength and toughness. The coatings have superb outdoor durability and weatherability under irradiation and severe weather conditions, etc. The coatings can be used for long period of time in wide range of temperatures and in the same time maintain the basic performance.

Precautions

1. DY-1 should be packed in double-layer PE bags and then put in hard carton pails. The net content of each pail shall be 20kg. The product can be packed in accordance with the requirements of the users as well.

2. Measures should be taken to protect DY-1 from moisture, tumbling and strenuous vibration when the product is being transported.

3. It is appropriate to store DY-1 in clean, well ventilated, cool and dry warehouses.

4. It should be avoided to process and use the product at temperatures high than 315℃ for prevention of poisonous fumes produced from decomposition.
